Every choice has a face

Combeiro, and proud of it

In Brazilian table slang, a combeiro is the player who reads the whole book hunting for the perfect combo: the right race, the feat that unlocks the class, the spell that turns the fight. Guia do Combeiro (“the combeiro’s guide”) was made for that player, and for the game master who has to keep up with all of it.

From level 1 to 20, the Guide checks the rules at every choice and keeps your sheet ready for the session.

  • Creation in 12 steps

    Race, ability scores (standard array, 27-point buy or rolled), class, background, equipment and spells, with art for every choice and a review of what is still missing.

  • Level up and multiclass

    Prerequisites checked, fixed or rolled HP, Ability Score Improvement or a feat, and your subclass at the right level.

  • A live sheet at the table

    HP and temporary HP, spell slots, class resources, 14 conditions, exhaustion, concentration, and short and long rests.

    Export your sheet to a 3-page template in Portuguese: editable to keep filling in, or flattened for printing.

Frequently asked questions

Is Guia do Combeiro free?

Creating an account costs nothing, and character sheets, tables, the dice roller and the rules catalog are open to everyone during the testing phase.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The Guide runs right in the browser, on your phone, tablet or computer. Just create an account and start playing.

Which rules are in the catalog?

5th edition (2014) rules from 13 books: 13 classes, 101 subclasses, 51 races, 72 feats, 351 spells, 328 items and 830 creatures. You can browse the catalog without an account.

Can I play with my friends?

Yes. The game master creates the table and adds players who already have an account, by name or email. Each player links their character sheet, and the GM follows everyone’s race, class, level and HP.

Can I create my own content?

Yes. With Homebrew you create items, weapons, armor, spells and feats, as plain descriptions or with rules that feed into the sheet’s math, and you can publish them on the curated community Marketplace.

How do the launch credits work?

During launch, Guia do Combeiro players will be able to earn credits to play. Create your account and follow the news in the app’s Activity Center.

Is the app available in other languages?

Yes. The interface is in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and German and follows your browser’s language. Outside Portuguese, the rules text is machine-translated.
